STEP 1: Get a Free Price Quote
You no longer need to drive from one dealership to another or to waste time negotiating with a car salesperson.
Now you can get several price quotes from local dealers simply by requesting them online. And, you will get a price lower than you could in person because the dealer knows you are getting multiple quotes and because there is no sales commission.
CarThority.com provides links to the largest dealer database available. You simply enter the description of the car you want to purchase ... and your email address.
Within 2-3 days, you should have emailed quotes from 2-4 dealers in your area showing the MSRP, Invoice Price and any associated fees (for new cars) and the Retail or "asking" Price (for used cars).
Some or all dealers may call you on the phone. DO NOT answer any questions ... simply repeat the information you entered on the quote request. Tell the caller "I am getting several quotes and I will only consider those sent by email".
Print and compare the quotes. Set them aside until you have completed the other steps. You will use them to Determine Offer Price.
